Carmen Colón
President & CEO
With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Carmen Colón brings a wealth of experience in non-profit leadership and community service as the President & CEO of Pacific House. Carmen has made significant and innovative contributions to the non-profit sector, particularly in the areas of housing development, running shelters, strategic planning, and community engagement. Her tenure as Vice President at Bridgeport Y’s, a branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA, saw remarkable growth and included the management of a 300-unit permanent supportive housing portfolio.
Carmen focuses on expanding Pacific House's affordable housing portfolio, enhancing supportive services, and furthering the organization's impact in Fairfield County. Her bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English will facilitate reaching and serving a broader segment of the community.
Gary Camus
Chief Financial Officer
Gary Camus has joined Pacific House as our Chief Financial Officer. Gary brings more than 35 years of financial leadership experience across both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, with a strong record in strategic planning, operational excellence, and helping drive sustainable growth.
In this role, he will oversee the organization’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management, central to both the financial stability and strategic growth of the organization.
Prior to joining Pacific House, Gary served as Chief Financial Officer at Action Against Hunger, focused on eliminating hunger and malnutrition among the most vulnerable populations in the world. He also held the Chief Financial Officer role at EngenderHealth, Inc., a leading global health organization committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights for at-risk women and girls, as well as gender equality.
Gary holds a BS degree from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT.
Silvia Narvaez
Chief Program Officer
Serving as the Chief Program Officer, Silvia brings a wealth of experience and passionate commitment to equity and human rights for the unhoused population. She is a results-driven advocate with a strong background in nonprofit management, case management, and customer service. Silvia’s expertise includes strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and deep understanding of the homeless housing industry.
Throughout her career, Silvia has worked and volunteered with several notable organizations, including Malta House, Mercy Learning Center, CIRI, Beth El Center, and most recently, Alpha Community Services YMCA.
Whitney R. Creutz
Chief Development Officer
Whitney Creutz is the Chief Development Officer at Pacific House focused on fundraising, communications, and marketing. After a successful commercial real estate private equity career, specializing in investor relations, marketing, and business development, Whitney transitioned to the nonprofit sector to apply her expertise to mission-driven work. At Pacific House, she leads fundraising initiatives, builds strategic partnerships, and increases engagement efforts for various nonprofits. Whitney is committed to leveraging data-driven storytelling and relationship management to advance Pacific House’s philanthropic goals.
Whitney is active in her community, currently serving as a Board member at Saint Luke’s Parish, Darien and Darien Advocates for the Education of the Gifted.
