Elizabeth King

Director of Homeless Shelter Services

“I’m energized by this new opportunity. I believe I’ve been equipped and prepared to confidently continue on this journey of greater, and I look forward to contributing even more to the team, those we serve, and the mission.”

Stamford, CT — Pacific House is proud to announce that Elizabeth King has been officially promoted to Director of Homeless Shelter Services.

Elizabeth holds two master's degrees in recreation and leisure administration from Southern CT State and social work from Fordham University.  She began her career with Pacific House in 2015. She started as an intern and has steadily grown within the organization, taking on increasing responsibilities and leadership over the years. Most recently, in March 2025, she stepped into the role of Interim Shelter Director, bringing steadiness, heart, and a deep commitment to both staff and clients.

Her long-standing experience with Pacific House, combined with her passion for its mission, made her a standout candidate during a thoughtful and competitive selection process. Pacific House is proud to be able to promote from within and recognize her continued dedication.

As Director, Elizabeth will be responsible for overseeing shelter operations, supervising staff, and ensuring we meet our program goals, particularly around client engagement, outcomes, and overall performance. It is a big role with high expectations, and she will be reporting directly to Silvia Narvaez, Chief Program Officer, who is looking forward to working closely with her to strengthen our services at Pacific House and support the team.

Please join all of us at Pacific House in congratulating Elizabeth and supporting her as she continues this important work.
