Dear Friend,
Across Fairfield County, the need for affordable housing continues to grow, underscoring the importance of expanding community-based solutions. Housing costs have risen, and the supply of affordable homes has not kept pace. According to the Stamford Needs Based Housing Assessment of 2025¹, Stamford has about 7,500 extremely low-income households, with just 3,400 units currently affordable to this demographic. Additionally, “local service providers report that client need has increased in recent years, with many households experiencing difficulty paying for housing at far higher rates than the overall population.”
With your timely investment, Pacific House can act quickly to create new pathways to housing and stability. Today, we are building momentum to address this shortage in two powerful ways.
