We are pleased to bring you some incredible news that marks a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to provide affordable housing in Fairfield County.

Unveiling a Milestone Partnership

We're honored to announce a transformative $1 million donation from the Stamford Rotary Trust Fund, embodying their motto of 'Service Above Self.' This generous gift is more than a financial contribution; it's an investment in hope, stability, and the future of our community. These funds will directly contribute to our new development at 41-45 Stillwater Avenue in Stamford, offering affordable apartments as a lifeline for those who need it most. This partnership exemplifies service that places the well-being and advancement of our community above all else.

The Far-Reaching Impact of Your Support

This groundbreaking project is set to construct 39 deeply affordable apartments, with nine dedicated to homeless families in Stamford and across the area. The first floor will serve as the new headquarters for Pacific House, offering on-site case management services for tenants. Our focus on supportive housing will especially benefit senior citizens, who make up about 25% of our clientele, and others who've reached economic stability but are still priced out of the housing market due to skyrocketing costs.

Local and state officials announced the upcoming project at a press conference next to the site of the future development. Speakers included Pacific House Executive Director Rafael Pagan Jr., Gov. Ned Lamont, Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons and multiple state representatives.

Introducing the Future of The Rotary Commons Plaza:

A Testament to Shared Vision and Community Impact

We are thrilled to announce that this life-changing project will be named "Rotary Commons Plaza." This name isn't just a label; it stands as a powerful symbol of our enduring partnership with the Stamford Rotary Trust Fund and our collective commitment to reshape the future of housing in our community. Through Rotary Commons Plaza, we are not just building homes but crafting a haven where dignity, security, and opportunity flourish for all who reside there.

We could not be more elated to share that this monumental partnership seamlessly aligns with the very core of our missions. It's not merely an extension of our work; it's a quantum leap that amplifies our impact from providing transient respite in emergency shelters to crafting sustainable, long-lasting homes. Together with the Stamford Rotary Trust Fund, we are elevating our collective promise to create a future where emergency shelters become a thing of the past, and affordable, permanent housing is a reality for all.
